soft lessons suck

My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
Proverbs 3:11-12

when God pays attention to you, don’t complain too much. he’s not doing it becuase you’re bad or because He hates you, rather just the opposite in most occations i’ve occured. He disciplines when you start to go down a path that might be bad. He shines on you with His radiant light because He loves you, not because he despises you. So if you end up going through a hard time and God comes down on you rather hard, don’t fret He’s only helping and making things better in the long run.

happy feet…i mean fruit!

Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10

the calssic you gotta get to give to get to give to get to give cycle. you can’t really give to get, but that shouldn’t be the intention. the intention is to honor God, if it’s anything less then it’s just not worth it. So give with a happy heart (as that is what the Lord judges) and feel the love that is returned to you.

bone daddy

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
Provers 3:7-8

for what is the knowledge of man if not foley? what exactly do we know in teh long run? in all reality the only thing man knows is what God lets him know. harsh, but true. to go back to the begining, when adam and eve sinned the first thing they did was try to cover themselves and provide for themselves. well, that didn’t work too well when they got kicked out of the garden and they had to fend for themselves. thus it was the Lord who provided for them and brought nourishment to their bodies (and by proxy, bones)
