It has been about a year since this site was resurrected. Unfortunately, it has seen something of a recession, especially as of late. Many factors have compounded the problem. Factors ranging from time, family, school, work, to deeper, more personal problems. However, I know that I need to be doing something with this site. I’ve tried getting people to help with content, that didn’t work (through not fault of anyone), and all that did was solidify with me that this is something that I need to do. That particular fact is one that is rather odd, especially considering that God has been taking me down a path of getting off of myself, and back onto helping others. That aside, the other side of the coin is that I need to be helping to further the kingdom of God.

That fine line between self-less and humble, it is one that is not easily walked. It is where I was about a year ago, no doubt about that (others may dispute it, but it is where I ended up). It’s a place where God can really begin to mold you, and help you to get to know Christ better. Unfortunately for me, I fell off that line. Not onto either side, but so somewhere else. Work started to become my focus, then family, then school, and once again, I’m to that place where it’s all about me. The selfish me, the me that wants to have everything and do nothing. Not the me that wants to serve God above all else, not the selfless me that gives God all the credit.

Luckily for us, this is one of those places that God loves to come to us in. The broken places. The lonely places. The places where we’re looking at a hole, four walls, and yet, there’s a light above us that we can finally see as we’ve taken our focus off of the walls. The place where God has looked at me and said, “Welcome back.�

There are many articles that were written, and never posted. Now I know this is because they were coming from me, not from God. They were my words, not His, and luckily, I was listening just enough to not post those. All that means is that there’s a whole new set of articles coming to the site sometime soon. Some might be classic style, some new. The winds are changing, and I’ve finally stopped fighting them. Most articles have contained verses, and then some description. The future might hold more articles like this one, which are just free formed and help describe something that God is leading me to share.

Whether or not this all continues, or that anyone reads this is no longer something that I’m concerned with. The fact that I’m doing what God wants me to do is far more important. Have fun everyone, and please pray for everyone that is (or has been) involved with this site, prayer is always appreciated!
