graphe arithmos

schedule

ok, my plan is to do at least four graphe arithmos articles a month for a while. pretty much one a week. i have a couple of reasons for doing this, of which i’ll get into in a latter article. the hope is to have more consistant publishing dates, and possibly the ability to “stockpile” articles to one day do a daily version again. but if you have an questions, please, e-mail us! the e-mail address is at the bottom of the page. please continue to pray for us, we always need it! in the mean time, have fun! and God bless!

whales anyone?

John 7:52: They replied, “Are you from Galilee, too? Look into it, and you will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee.”

1Kings 21:17 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite

2Kings 14:25 He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath to the Sea of the Arabah, in accordance with the word of the LORD, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.

the comment from the jewish elders always kinda bugged me, cause i knew there had to be someone from galilee. i didn’t think i’d find the two i did. but the first, was elijah. thisbe, where elijah is from, was in the province known to them as galilee. the second i found, which for some reason seemed more fitting, was jonah. the prophet who went to the areas that no one else would go to to preach the word of God. makes logicallity to me. but if you ever get asked the question, or have wondered who was, there’s your answer!

one and all

And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.
-romans 1:6 NIV

everyone is invited to the kingdom of God. no matter what the race, past religion, sex, sins, anything! no matter what, God wants everyone to experience his goodness and grace. so no matter who you are or what you’ve done, you are invited into the kingdom of God.
