move for no man
And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars — all the heavenly array — do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.
-Deuteronomy 4:19 NIV
All of the array, including black holes, worm holes, white holes, quasars, supernovas, and all such space objects. True, at times they can be a reminder, or provide a path, or a signal to what we should be doing for God. Such as the so-called wise men who came to see Jesus. They were astrologers, and God used that to show them where they should be worshiping. Not to the stars, but to the King of the Heavens, the creator of the universe.
But there is a deeper matter to this all, and it is that of idols. We make idols in our lives, it’s true. I’m as, if not more, guilty as everyone I know. But there are reasons the Holy Spirit made sure passages like this exist. They serve as a warning to what we shouldn’t be doing, and giving us examples of what we should be doing.
So, the short version is this, worship God and not his creations.
