Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
-james 3:1 NIV

to be really corny, ?with great power, comes great responsibility.? God loves us all and gives us all slightly different talents. God has, in my case, called me to be a teacher of sorts. and he has led me to this, not to make me fearful of what I say, but to show me that I?m being watched. In light of this, I?d ask you all to keep me in check. whether that is by prayer, e-mail, calls, or visits, I encourage you to confront me when you feel it is needed. Thank you all and God bless.

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
-2nd corinthians 9:10-11

ok, so this might have been better for thanksgiving day. that aside, God wants to bless us. what we do for God not only helps to supply the kingdom, but it?s done for God. things that are done for ourselves aren?t for God. that might sound incredibly stupid, but sometimes we need to be reminded of that, and yes, that includes me. everyone is guilty of that at some time or another. but God is there, waiting for us to come back and share in his works. so, what does all this generosity and good work bring? thanksgiving. to God. all the glory goes to Him, because without the Lord, we can do nothing.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
-2nd corinthians 9:8 NIV

God gives us what we need to do what we need. what is the point of not giving us everything we want? because it?s not what we need to abound in every good work. our flesh doesn?t always want what is good for us, but God knows what we absolutely need. and that he will always provide.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
-2nd corinthians 9:7 NIV

you reap what you sow. if you give money with intent to get it back in some form or another from God, it?s not a gift. tt?s a loan. give to God what you feel God wants you to give. it?s hard sometimes, but in the end you?re doing what God wants, and He will bless you for it.

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
-2nd corinthians 9:6

ever heard that it takes money to make money? the more you spend the more you can gain. i believe that the same thing applies to the spiritual realm. the more you pour yourself out to God, the more he can use you. but at the same time, if you don?t do anything, God won?t be able to use you. the same principle can be extended to most, if not all, relationships. sow for good, and receive it. the abundance as to which you receive is all based on the time that you?re willing to put in.
