fortunate followers
Jeremiah 17 NIV
Because of our sin, our “fortunes”, both earthly and heavenly, are taken away. That’s the jist of verses 1-3. Verses 7-8 say something like; trust the LORD your GOD and you grow like the mightiest tree with an unlimited water supply. The rest of the chapter, up till verse 18 that is, is more talk to Judah, and how you shouldn’t forsake God cause if you do, instead of being in the book of life, you’ll be writtin in the dust. But verse 14 stuck out to me. it goes as follows:
Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For you are the one I praise.
So basicly, don’t foresake God, in all reality, he’s never changed, nor will he. So, God bless you all and I hope to have enough time to continue these scriptures this school year!
